Privacy Policy

Comic Draft is built to keep your work private. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

What we collect

Comic Draft has no accounts, no logins, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking. We do not collect your personal data. The only information that ever reaches us is anonymous, opt-in crash diagnostics delivered by Apple — described under Diagnostics below.

Where your work lives

Your scripts and your library — series, issues, characters, outlines, and notes — are stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account using Apple iCloud Drive and CloudKit. This data lives in your private iCloud. It is never sent to us, and never sent to any third party. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Diagnostics

If Comic Draft crashes or misbehaves, Apple may share a crash report and basic performance diagnostics with us through App Store Connect — but only if you have opted in to sharing analytics with app developers on your device.

These reports reach us from Apple in aggregated form. They contain technical details such as the app version, device model, OS version, and the point in the code where the crash occurred. They do not contain your scripts, your library, or anything that identifies you personally. We use them for one thing: fixing bugs.

You can turn this off at any time — on iPad under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, and on Mac under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Children's privacy

Comic Draft does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
